Andy Sottilare was born in Miami, Florida. He began acting professionally in 1989, since then, Andy has continued his study of both theatre and film, with over 250 commercials, PSAs and other TV, film and stage appearances to his credit.

In 1996 Andy created, produced and directed, as well as acted in, his own cable access TV show,"Drive In TV", for Miami Springs TV Productions, where he also co hosted the weekly show,"Whats Your Opinion?"(1996 to 1999).

Onstage, Andy has written, directed and performed his own sketch comedy, with "PUNCH 59"(1998 to 2001) and helped co-found "Best Medicine"(1999 to 2000), a sketch comedy troupe that performed for cancer patients at Miami Childrens Hospital, as well as elderly retirees in Assisted Living Facilities.

Andy appeared in "Tony and Marias Wacky Italian Wedding"(2000 to 2002), as "Tony Berrio", during this time he also portrayed "Fenny" in the South Florida premier of,"The Singer, the Dancer, the Painter and the Muse"(2001), a musical fantasy, at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

In 2002, Andy was cast as "Roger", in "Ocean Avenue", a Swedish/American soap opera. Andy was next cast as "Detective Ron Kastell" opposite Eva Longoria, in the 2004 crime drama, "Carlitas Secret". This same year, Andy became a certified fitness trainer with the ISSA. In 2003, Andy was cast as "Professor Ari Ptah", in the indie sci fi film,"1 Anunnaki", he then had a supporting role in Will Vasquezs comedy farce,"Quick Pick", (2005).

Andy currently performs improv with "Laughing Gas", a Miami improv institution since 1992 and "THEY improv", which he helped co-found in 2005. Andy currently co hosts "Lifestyle Innovations", with Tracy Montilla, a new product program and "Luxury Living Showcase", a high end real estate showcase, with Amy Simon.

Andy is an experienced commercial spokesperson, is skilled on TelePrompter, Earprompt and has an extensive improv background. Comedy is a specialty.
